I just purchased a 56 f100 from a guy who started to put suicide doors on. Im not real big on using those and thinking of going back with original style. My question is are the repro door hinges any good or should I get original ones and rebuild them with bushings?

Also where do I find a rebuild kit if I go with the old ones?

Also what's yalls thoughts on the suicide doors?

The original hinges seldom need bushings, if they do get another set of originals, they are really stout, and at most might need new pins.

That's because Ford used the simple basic leaf door hinge design that has held up hundreds of years on dwelling doors and made them out of very heavy steel.
IMHO suicide doors are a "fix" for something that isn't broken just for the sake of making a change. In my mind they rank equal to lambo doors on tuner cars. There is nothing inherently wrong with them, if you like them go for it.
