Lightbulb 2004 Lightning Specs
Here's some prelim info for those of you that are interested.

5.4L Supercharged 2V SOHC V8. 4-Speed Automatic w/ O/D putting out 380 HP @ 4750 RPM and 450 LB. FT. Torque @ 3250 RPM.

Comes in Red, Black, Dark Shadow Grey, White, Silver and Sonic Blue.

I think that was the concept car. I know the Silverado SS is up there too (don't have the figures) so maybe that's what you're thinking of.

2004 Lightning Specs
It was confirmed this weekend by the engineers at Ford that the production Lightning specs are going to be pretty close to the concept vehicle shown in January. 500HP! Wahoo!

y'all check out Truck Trend in stores now. 4 valve, T-56 Tremec 6spd, IRS, 22 in wheels, estimated 0-60 4.5 sec, est. 1/4 12.5. Yeah, definitely not 380hp bro.
And the SS is rated at 345hp. Even a single cab dodge can run with the snifflerado.

in the magazine. It has a picture of the Gale Banks Sidewinder, the Dakota with a new 5.9 turbodiesel with 1300 lb/ft! Will do 218 mph!

The Super Slow Snifflerado (like that one!!) tops out at 109 MPH, not much of a performance vehicle. eh?

yeah the new motor does have 32 valves, aluminum block. Heard about it's "SuperCooler?"
