I checked and looked around when i bought my truck; but still havent figured it out.

Iptruck is a 2010 xl; no power equipment. Whenever i open the door the running lights and cab lights come on and stay on for a minute or until i turn the ignition on. Also when parking it does the same thing; parking lights come on and stay on for a minute or so, and i get "hey man your lights are on" all the time. For "tactical" reasons i want to be able to open my door wihtout the lights coming on; any ideas on how to. Fix this? Im tni king since i dont have power locks or windows i may be able to pull a fuse? I would like to still be able to turn the cab lights on if possible

 

Have you checked with the dealer ? I would think they could reprogram the computer to do whatever you want..
