How to tell year of crown vic front end
I'm going to go look at a crown vic front suspension setup for my 67, guy said it's out of a 04, how could I tell? To make sure it's 03 and newer.

the cross-member is aluminum and un bolts on 03 and newer. ;02 and older it looks like our trucks stamped out of steel and welded and riveted to the frame

Just do a search for a CV swap & there are plenty of pics of the CV IFS you are looking for.

2003 was the first year for rack & pinion steering on Crown Vic's & Mercury Grand Marquis.
