Will the factory 2005 and newer Superduty wheels and tires, fit on the 2002 Superdutys? Or will I have to stick with 1999 to 2004 wheels and tires?

 

They should fit just fine except you will need a 2" wheel spacer to get them to stick out far enough and not rub the front leafs.

 

I think you have to get wheel spacers or something like that if you were smart you would get 99-04 wheels.

Stick with the factory 99-04 wheels. Good quality wheel spacers cost a small fortune.
the 00-05 excursions and SD trucks will interchange. The excursion never got the upgrades the 05 SD did.

 

So are you guys saying that the 2005 has a 8x170mm bolt pattern? If so I would think the dually offset would still be the same or is it different too??
Because I know a 1999-2004 2x4 and 4x4 dually have the same wheels just wondering if 2005 DRW wheel will work on a 1999-2004 DRW 2wd.

 

So.. What you're saying redneck, Is i'm not smart? Dont need the S.A. Comment. Just wondering if the newer style rims and tires would work. I like the way the 05 and newer wheels and tires look. But if I have to resort to putting spacers and other things in I wont bother. then again, by your "if you were smart" comment you really meant to say "it would be safer" to stick with the 99 to 04 design, then O.K.. I misunderstood you.

 

no no I wasn't saying that I meant if you didn't want to spend lots of money for something lots of people don't recomend is safe it would be alot better if you go with 99-04 wheels. I am sorry thats how you interperted that. I should have typed that better.

WHEW! I think he said 600.00 for quality spacers. Boy, think I will just stick with my factory 99 to 04 wheels and tires. Im going to wait until i can find a deal on aftermarket wheels and tires designed for the 99 to 04s. Thanks for your feedback guys!

 

no problem man you will find some sooner or later trust me. I asked this question before for our 02 F250 with 2012 wheels I wanted a good set and a winter set so they don't have problems and ugliness. Same problem so I ignored them.

Yes, by the time you pay for the correct spacers and the new wheels, you could have gotten yourself a nice set of aftermarket wheels.
