Guess I will be hanging here now...

Just made a deal on selling my RV and got this as partial trade. It is a 2000 F250 Super Duty 4X4 diesel/auto with 153,000 miles. Has the normal clearcoat issues on the hood and roof and the trip computer needs the solder repair done. Other than that....a sweet truck.

Our first ever diesel so we will be learning for sure.

Did the Previous Owner tell you if any modifications have been done to the truck?

No mods that anyone knows of. PO had it since 04....I am the third owner. It has had a 5th wheel hitch (since removed) from the 1st owner and the PO towed a small boat locally.

Took you long enough, Pete.

Do you have any of the maintenance records from the PO? I would make sure everything is in tip top shape before doing any mods to that nice looking truck.

So far no plans. It will be used to drive when the red clay road we live on is to messy for the Mustang....or when I need a truck.....or hauling grandkids......or because.....wife is on disability and I am retired so we have no daily driver classification on vehicles.

The PO had Ford do a once over and the paperwork indicates all is good plus he was good at being on top of any repairs needed. Not sure of what mods there are but anything will be slow coming.

Wife is really liking this truck so that is always good......
