Welcome To 3 New Ky Chapter Members!!
We've got 3 new folks in the group now! They are Ray1986F150, dmarsh2400, and homade! I know Gerry (homade) has been around FTE for a while, as well as Ray. But dmarsh is new to us, and FTE. Welcome guys. I believe you will enjoy it here. Tell us a little bit about yourselves. Where you live, what you do, etc, etc.

Call Stanton home right now. Originally from Irvine, Have loved ford trucks since teenage years ( long time ago).
just bought 1979 f100 styleside, started putting togather tools for the job. Now I am in search mode, looking for parts at jy's, driving down old country roads and eyeballing everyones barns and fields...lol.
Have only used FTA for a couple of day's but have allready found a lot of useful information and some very willing and helpful folks.
I am currently working at Apollo Oil in Winchester. I manage 2nd shift. You know how 2nd shift is, really no time thru the week, so i try to cram as much i the weekends as I possibly can...
looking forward to meeting everyone I can, and have enjoyed spending time on FTE already..

Thank you for the big welcome.
Ive been a member of FTE for a little while now. Ive been a Chevy guy all my life and bought my first Ford last year. Its a 1986 F-150, 302, Speed Density, C6, 9", regular cab, long bed.
So far I have rebuilt the engine, tranny, rear axle, brakes, wheel bearings, fuel system, cooling system, exhaust, a/c, interior and bought XLT interior trim pieces and XLT front grill and bumper. All that's left is paint and to get a better rear bumper and some nice tail light lenses.
I am a mechanical designer draftsman in Tulsa OK. I am from Mt. Washington KY, and went to Bullitt East high school. I am 26, married, one 2 year old and another one on the way. We will be moving back to KY sometime next year when our house sells. We are buying a piece of land somewhere near Taylorsville and will be starting a Permaculture farm. That's what I built this truck for, to use on the farm. Right now its my DD, with 2.75:1 gears, but as soon as it hits the farm its getting a carbed 300 six, 4x4 swap, and 3.50:1 gears. It'll be my first tractor!!

Welcome to all. Well, I'm not sure how I can say "welcome" to homade, since he's been on FTE twice as long as me, but welcome anyway.
I'm just down the road from dmarsh, I've probably driven past your house a few dozen times on my way into the gorge.
And Ray? Well, it's never too late to take off your bow tie and join the Ford crowd. Okay, there are some Chevys I like too, but don't tell anyone.

Gary Lewis, our local chapter leader, has a very nice garage. A/C, press, lift, lathe, sand blast cabinet, drill press, powder coat booth, powder coat oven, industrial ss countertops and sinks, its own bathroom, 2-stories, with a house crane.....I dream everytime I am over there.
