Yeah, I had to deal with that when I worked out in the yard at the Menards here, back in 99.

 

It is fun isn't it..

 

I worked my butt off to get it straightened out when I started, and did a great job of keeping up with it. But, I don't deal with morons very well, and when the snobby west Omaha women would show up, in there BMW Suv's, and demand that I load them ( sent by their husbands, dumb), usually very rudely, I would load them up with all of the worst of the twisted, spllit stuff I could find. Usually all of if came back within a half hour, and they'd complain. Luckily, I had a great store manager, and he knew I worked my butt off. So, he gave me two teenagers to deal with the customers, and I could just stock. Worked out just fine after that!LOL

 

Lately I am back to closing by myself. They are doing inventory and the department head is stuck with that. We got two new people but still not enough. Then you have the people that always have a bad back or shoulder. But again you have some that are really nice and help you every time..

 

It always drove me crazy, when someone would show up 10 minutes before closing, and want a deck or building kit. I had to work until midnight a few times because of that.

 

I know what you mean. Like it was a last minute thing. I see them out there or want me to load a crap load of stuff and I am trying to get the place ready for the next day. There are nights I feel like just throwing in the towel and retiring ..

Good evening Alabama! Was 80° today, won't be as warm tomorrow but close. Cold front moves through Thursday night, the low Friday 35°. Happy thirsty Thursday everyone.

 

Good evening Rick and all who wander in here to chat. It was 82 in my little patch in the South. I volunteered to go to work today to do the forklift work required for closing.

 

Good morning Alabama, from wet, chilly Nebraska! The weather weenies completely lied to us yesterday, never even got to 60, and was supposed to be 80! Be lucky to hit 50 today....
