Wheel and Tire Question

I own a 1971 Ford F250 4x4 Highboy and am looking to put some new tires on it. I really like the look of big mud tires on a truck like this so does anyone have any preferences or opinions on this. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on these tires but I also want them to perform well when it comes to going off-road.
Thank you to all who post their thoughts on this!

Low buck? 15x8 steel wheels with 33x10.5x15 all terrain radials. Brand? Your call... that's like asking which mufflers to go with... EVERYBODY has their own opinion.

Use 16" wheels as 15"ers might be too small and would be hard to find in an 8-bolt version. Don't use 16.5's as they are very hard to find tires for.

What's cheap? Even a set of stock sized tires are going to cost $600 minimum and more like $800 and up. Do you have power steering? Bigger tires will put some muscles on you.

I have a 1968 F250 4x4 that I just put power steering on and found a set of 285/75/16 Federal mud tires used for 225 bucks. Will show picks when finished. You can find 8 lug 15 inch rims online but you're adding cost and possibility of not working as mentioned above. Agree with no 16.5's unless wanting to lift if and put some military tires on it.
