Thanks everyone for the Congrats & well wishes for Karl & Kaedon.

Gerry - Unfortunately there isn't anything for it. It's just gotta run it's course. I've been giving them Ibuprofen, calamine lotion, & Alka Seltzer plus cold & flu to try to help with the pain, itching, sore throat, body ache & chills/fever. That's about all I can do for it. I wish there was some miracle cure!

Thursday already...WOOHOO!!!! The weekend is right around the corner & I'm so looking forward to going to work. I need a break from the kids.

Kaedon is doing alot better. The blisters have scabbed over & she'll be back in school on Monday!
Karl still has a slight fever & hasn't shown any signs of rd bumps/blisters at all. He's actually complaining of his ear & throat hurting, so maybe he just has a ear infection that's draining?! I keep checking him for red bumps, etc. & nothing yet!

On a different note, Jimmy & I went for a ride the other day out to Fallon to have lunch. It was a great ride! His only complaint was that I wasn't riding close enough to him. He said I shouldv'e only been like 1 motorcycle length behind him. I kept a 2 second safety zone behind him according to what I was taught in class. Oh well, I'd rather be safe, than sorry!
I'm hoping to ride the bike out to Top Gun on Saturday if it isn't too cold. It would be my first ride on the highway w/o Jimmy riding next to me. Although I'll be nervous...I'm sure I'll do fine.

WOW!! I have never seen as much rain fall as what just came down the past 5 minutes. That was a lot of water!

We had a nice cool day, overcast this afternoon.

I was able to get some work done, etching the glass on my front porch.

Yep, They're back to being normal, typical kids! I think Karl had more of an ear infection, than the H F & M disease. Kaedon's blisters have scabbed over, so they both will be going back to school on Monday. (thank God)

What are your plans for the weekend?

Tonight we're going shopping & paying bills, Saturday, I work at Top Gun Raceway, & Sunday, we'll probably go for a ride with a couple freinds.

 

What are you using to etch the glass? What design are you doing?

Jimmy has been etching glass, mirrors, picture frames, vehicle windows, etc. for a long time. He'd love to get one of those portable laser etching machines, but they're so expensive!

 

I am acid etching my glass. I have done quite a few around my area here. My front porch so far is just English Ivy. There are four large panes, roughly 4'x4'. If I get an idea as I go along I might add to it. So far I have been doing it so that I can quit any time and it will look good. Section here, section there.

It is hard to photograph but If I can get any good ones I will post up.

Ok, so, what I miss?

Sorry it's been a while. I've had some medical issues and been super busy the past couple of months with all kinds of crap going on. Uggghhh! Plus, my stupid email provider (GoDaddy) marked all of the FTE email notifications as spam, so I never even get them. So, when a reply came down the line for the responses to these threads, I started not getting them and then got busy and forgot.

So, ultimately, I'm a luke-warm mess. LOL Not even a hot mess. LOL So, I do apologize for not being here and have missed all of you. I hope everyone has been doing well.
