Carb. Power Valve:

Does anyone know what size power valve it takes for an autolite 2100 carb. for a 1966 F-100 with 352 engine?Where can I just buy the valve without buying a complete kit? Thanks,Russ

There is a size stamped into the old power valve if you still have it, and most performance shops have a variety of replacements.

here are a few helpful links

the size will be stamped on the edge of the power valve it will be a two digit number such as 65... which stands for 6.5 hg of Vacuum that is the most common size used

Thanks, everyone.I checked my old power valve and it looks like 6.5 in a circle that looks like an 8 on it??? What does that mean? Also, the old power valve does not have a shoulder on it.

Can you post a photo of it? I am hoping NumbersDummy will chime in, he will know where to get one if anyone will.... If it is a Holley manufactured part then it will be relatively easy. but if it is FOMOCO, or motorcraft, it might be a bit tougher. It might be that the Holley will fit though.. Seems to me when I rebuilt the original on my truck, that the Kit was indeed a Holley kit... I later swapped in the Edelbrock after a power build up, I couldn't see putting the old Carb on with an in effect all new engine...

after a bit of research yes you can use the Holley power valve, which is what I thought was the case...

here is a link about the rebuild process for 2150 and 2100 carbs

OP has a 2100 series Auto-Lite (Motorcraft) carburetor, so it's not a Holley part. Holley's were not factory installed on 1965/66 F100/350's with 352's.

COAZ-9A565-A .. Economizer (Power) Valve ~ 0-5,000 ft. (Motorcraft CE-74) / Obsolete

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 2 = 800-476-9653 (Note: DC listed as C0AZ, not COAZ - same church, different pew).

This exact same economizer valve comes in the carb kit = Applications: ALL 1962/74 Passenger Cars/Trucks / 1966/74 Bronco / 1969/74 Econoline.
