Okay, never had a turbo before... so I'm not sure what the rules are with it... I've got a fuel line waaay back under the turbo that I'm suspicious of leaking.... But, I can't see it with the air box on. Is it alright to start the truck without the airbox on? Or is that a turbo no-no? Thanks.

 

Running it without the air box is not a problem. All you are doing is running unfiltered air. You don't want to do it for a long period of time, but you almost have to when you tune and the like.

Yeah, you are fine, just don't drive the truck around like that because you could ingest dirt, rocks, etc into the turbo.

 

in my backyard, the fan stirs up enough dust i wouldn't want to, but if thats not a problem for you go for it.
