Dang Rich, already! Shoot it seems like last week when we were just out at your place!
Im guessing my drive shaft should be as long as Alan's. So far a lot of "never seen that" about my 2 piece d/s.
I bought a new carrier bearing, but I may just go with the 1 piece.
Man it was good to see you this time round. When are you coming back?

Evening everyone.
Nothing much interesting going on here. I thought we were going to a scout event this weekend, but apparently we're not. I guess that will give me one more day to figure out where the knock sensor on the wife's car is fouled up. I am praying that something ate part of the harness. That will be so much easier to fix than what I have to go through to replace the sensor itself.
On top of everything else - I think I'm coming down with a cold...

Even though Old Rusty passed on & I no longer OWN a FORD, I do drive one (usually). Well, pics got lost, was gonna post them because I know y'all need pics. Moved them to my FTE album on photobucket & they ain't there. It's an E-450 with a diesel. Yeller with pretty lights on top that blink on & off. Re-sending to photobucket now. Maybe they'll show up in the next couple days & I can post them then.

Evening Everybody!
I got the old four speed out of the '56 and the flywheel swapped over to the flex plate. I'll try to mount the auto trans tomorrow. This is going to be more complicated than I thought. .....or at least, more complicated than I hoped. I should be able to pull it off to my satisfaction, though.
Anybody need a Chevy truck four speed trans and bell housing?! ....Pat?

RC, you told me you needed a real truck, well, with that red and white dent side ranger xlt cab etc with that bed (if its good off your truck in front of your house) I dont know if that red and white truck was a 4x4. But im sure you have plenty of the 4x4 chasis's around. You have all the stuff, trim, glass etc to make you a great truck.
Im sure we could help ya pull one together!

Could probably get a couple bucks from someone that actually believes 5h1trolets are good for something.
