Whaddupp fellers. Heard from Shari that her, and her mom are having breakfast, then going to the hospital. Thanks for the thoughts n prayers, they do work!
Alan, I hope Tiff is ok, I'm still owed my birthday spanking.
I left my job almost 3 years ago. And since I've been gone, I've trained two different people to replace me. I've gone in and wired a truck and trailor for lights, electric brakes, and a break away box for the trailor. I finally collected on those favors yesterday. My ol' boss hooked me up with four brand new Michelin LTX M/S 2's. He said cost was almost $200 each! The gold truck rides so nice with those new tires on there. Now it needs it's oil changed, and alignment done.
Tim and I did take Ka'Bluey out for a short ride through the finley River Park yesterday. There were a bunch of teenagers talking in a group between a bunch of Jap cars. They heard the rumble of Ka'Bluey idling through the park and we turned every head. Guess they didn't know an old Ford could make some noise. So naturally I had to smoke the tires (and it will) coming out of the park.

Y'all have a good one.

Unk Bob

haha no problem, i was half asleep when i posted it last night also. but i just had the 4.56 on hand and i knew they had to be better than the stock 3.55s, the old truck was the exact same 1 as i have now it was just built for playing and not driving so i never knew how bad of mpg it got but im getting about 8 if im lucky in this 1, but as far as the gears go i guess ill be swappin in some 4.10 or maybe 3.93

Afternoon Everybody!

Bob, Tiff doesn't have anything major wrong. Just some post-kid bladder stuff.

We just got home and I got get some stuff moved around so I can get Jeff's Caddy under the tent and the heads off for him.

Hey Larry! You still lurking around? Tiff said I could come get the wrecker at tax time if you can hold out. If not, I understand.

Look what I just found on the list.

It looks like Ka'Bluey and Big Red's older brother!

I kind of "dug it" myself! Stacks, lift, does look like something that should be in our little FTE family. But somebody's proud of it.

WOW! Holy crap, I'm never working on another Cadillac! Jeff, the heads are off. What a friggin' nightmare.

As I suspected, the passenger side head is trash and the driver's side head has two bent valves, ....possibly more. Just two of them are bent on a 45* angle and plain to see. All three pistons on the driver's side were tagged. ....What a mess.

Trailer prep and paint tomorrow. I may try to fire up the heater and lay some primer and mud on Friday. Man, I'm beat, I hurt, and I AM DONE for the day.

I agree with Alan, I hate cadillacs.

I got dirty this afternoon.

Now it's time for the power washer, a can or two of paint, and parts.
