Morning all. I guess I will have fun driving in it Tim. Just need to make sure my tow straps are easily accessed and that the truck is topped off.

You will see widespread flooding, many, many trees down and no power for extended periods of time. Travelling will be difficult with all the standing water and debris. Best to just hunker down. Probably extended tidal surge too since the storm is so slow.

WIsh I could Tim. But Im essential personnel at work so I still have to go in and I could also be called in.

Travel safe. Id grab a few extra 5 gallon fuel cans if you can. Dont buy perishable food since the fridge will be going out and make sure you have plenty of propane or firewood for cooking/heat.
You camp a lot so it wont be bad for you. Its the rest of the population that cannot get by without tv and mcdonalds you have to worry about.
3 days into Isabelle when we lived in the city there was rioting and looting for food, fuel and supplies. 24/7 gunfire, it reminded me of Mosul. Didnt see that on Cnn though huh?
- no one messed with our house though

Tim the only thing I dont have is ammo for the shotgun. Might have to make a trip to the local sporting goods store to get some ammo.As for me I have propane, charcoal, food, the freezer in the shed is a chest freezer and will keep stuff froxen for 3 days. After that I can pack it with dry ice. As for the chill chest I have a small generator that will run that and a small tv.Hhave gas on hand and just need to think about if I will be called in or not. I doubrt I will be though. But if I am it will be an interesting drive for sure. As for work my bldg is on a back up generator mainly because of my office. That also inculdes the HVAC system for my office as well as the vending machines across the hall.

As for firewood we have a small stack for the fire pit in the bakyard. We use natural gas for heating and cooking at my house. No fireplace or wood stove.
