Just a quick hello this morning..

And nope we didn't get an elk....but we did climb over 2000 ft in elevation yesterday

Why is it the elk just can't wander into town and stand in your yard? Sure would make hunting easier!

Its cold and white stuff is around!

Didnt get my elk this go around. We got into the herd several times but couldn't get a clean shot or a 100% confirmation on the target. Had a blast though. Mountain hunting is hard hunting that is for sure!

Better snowing there than here! We used to go up on horseback. Take the horses up to the base camp, then go out from there.
