Addition to my collection

Thought I'd drop by and show off my new baby: A 2003 F-150!

<a href="http://s485.photobucket.com/albums/rr216/The_SnowMan710/Other%20Shop%20Productions/?action=view&amp;current=255461_4676639476724_8751 95643_n.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr216/The_SnowMan710/Other%20Shop%20Productions/255461_4676639476724_875195643_n.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

A few fun facts about this truck...it's the newest vehicle I've ever owned, it also is the first v8 (the 4.6L) and first extended cab I've had. Power windows are a first for me too!

She's a 4x4 and oddly enough has a 5 speed tranny too...don't think many of those were made. Now I've got to think of a name for her!

-Kenny

Congrats Kenny! Looks pretty nice, didn't know they offered a 5spd with the 4.6.

I didn't either. I'm going to do some research to see how many of these came like this. I've yet to own a truck with an auto in it, suppose I just like throwing gears, I guess!

I did not think that they offered a stick in any F150 in that generation.

from what I've been reading, the last model offered with a standard tranny was in 2008. Beats me, I've never seen anything with one newer than mine. Still not sure how many of them were made...

You could get the 5spd with base 4.2 6 cylinder... I wonder if it's because it was 2003, and they were trying to clean out parts since the 04's were all new?

It's all about the levers. I also don't know how to drive an automatic.

That's a possibility. I can't seem to find too much information about it...or I just suck at the whole internet thing...
