1988 Ford 4x4 with diffrent tire treads?

Ok so I have a 1988 Ford F150 4x4 302 V8 Regular cab. I have 2 good rear tires on it but my fronts are shot I have 2 more tires that I want to put on it for the rear and put my rears on the front. The tires I have both have diffrent tire threads then each other and they both are diffrent from the ones I have on the truck will this do ok? They are newer tires all with the same thread.

If the diameter of all the tires are the same, it should be OK.

They all are 235 75 R15 tires. I wasn't sure because usually we have money to put good tires all the way around on the truck.

Tire sizes WILL vary between brands. So check to make sure they are in close proximity

I have already checked and they all look close if not exactly the same wideness and tallness and such. So if that is the case I should be good correct?

You could have a problem if you have a limited slip axle and you run different treads on it.

Doesnt matter since the tires are the same size and you are keeping like tires per axle

If they are all the same size(actually measurements) then it doesnt matter.
But you really should have MATCHED tires on the front

well my rears I am putting on the front and the ones I got I am putting on the rear I know about that part. I am going to do it maybe tomorrow. Later on I am going to be putting good BF Goodrich TA KO 31 10.50 R15 all the way around on it but we are low on money right now for me to afford that. Are you kidding me we just spent $500 on tires for our 97 Expedition which we have a certain amount that goes out to vehicle for the time being.

Fairly simple way to find out is to use a flexible tape measure (or a piece of string and a tape measure) and measure the outer circumference of each tire after it's been inflated to spec. If theyre all very close (I'd venture to say 1/8" between the largest and smallest) you should be pretty safe. I'm not sure what the exact tolerance is.
