Anyone bought parts from hot rod's in Ohio?

I was comparing prices for bed parts between hot rod's in Ohio and mar-k. I used mar-k before and was very happy with them. Hot rods is a little cheaper, probably save 80-100$ on a 600$ order... I lived in Ohio and now in wv so I wouldn't mind supporting local business if the reviews are good

I think " Kevin Bigwind", a.ka. bigwin1956f100 knows him, and speaks highly of him. He's supposed to be a very fair guy.

However, another member (Nameless? Ha Ha!) beat him down on the price of a bed, promising to buy 3 to get his lowest price, then expecting that low price for only one bed.As I said, he's fair, but not a fool.

Contact Kevin if you can.

Made in Ohio? Not to be too rude, but are you delusional?

Pretty sure none of the mass marketed suppliers parts are made in Ohio, or America for that matter.

I concur with all of the above. I try to support Rodney and Denise every chance I get. They are good people to buy from. I havent had a bad experience. Plus they are in your part of the country... Now on the bed. The beds Rodney sells are Dan Carpenter made down in Norwood, NC right below Charlotte. Dan makes a good bed. Give them a call and them ole DW down in Murfreesboro referred you along with all of the folks I quoted above.

I used them for a number of different parts- had one I messed up the order on and they were going to a show in TN -stopped by my place -did the exchange as it was about 10 miles out of there way- great people and they are more than willing to give good service- I use them every chance I can even if it is a few more bucks - it's worth it Dave S

You won't find a better experence or parts anywhere. Rodney and Denise are great people to deal with, have never had a bad experence with them. They are just north of I70 and I675 junction on the north east end of Dayton, Ohio. I recommend them to anyone, hell my whole truck came from them one piece at a time, Garry
