Transfer case

I have got a 1995 Ford F150 and my trasfer case is leaking and im not a mechanic so need some ideas on what to get. It looks like it is leaking were the cases bolt together. Is there a gasket there?

Yes. it would be either the rear tailshaft seal on the tranny or the input shaft seal on the Tcase. I would just replace both so you don't have to pull the T-case again later.

Is it leaking between where the transmission and the transfer case mate together or is it leaking where the two halves of the transfer case's shell(case) mate together?

There are the two seals mentioned above. There is also where the two halves of the t-case bolts together. That is sealed by black RTV. Not sure which part your talking about leaking.

It is leaking wear both of the cases bolt to together

The case will need to be removed, the halves separated, cleaned, and re-sealed with silicone rubber sealant. Depending on the mileage the unit has seen, it might be a good idea to replace at least the drive chain, front & rear bearings also, since the unit is already apart. Replacing the front and rear seals is an absolute no brainer at the same time. impish
