03/06 seat swap - wiring = warning lights
I have an 03 F250 XL extended cab and swapped the bench seat for manual bucket seats and a center console from an 06 superduty. The 06 seats have the seat belts in them so I took my old seat belts out. The old seat belt retractors had pretensioners in them that were plugged into the wiring harness. I could not find pretensioner wires in the 06 seats to plug back in to my truck's harness, so I had to leave that part of my harness unplugged. Result - my airbag light flashes code 3-3 which means the pretensioners are no longer connected. I cannot put my old retractors back in because the 06 seats use that space and those mounting holes. Should the 06 seats have pretensioners or a connection for pretensioners? How can I get the warning light to stop and still be compliant with safety regulations? (Pretensioners have a charge in them that explodes when air bags are deployed. The charge quickly tightens the seat belts.)

You will need to find an adaptor that will fake out the system,
My truck is an 06 F350 CC LB with bucket seats and the is not
a Pretensioner in the system. So I guess you could remove
the little bomb and plug it back in out of the way. just
BE CAREFUL and don't check it with an ohm meter or it will
go BOOM.
