Now here's a COE hauler!

This freshly restored Cobra race car hauler was one of the many unique and fast display pieces from the 2012 Rolex Moneterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca.

Could there be any doubt - The original 427 Snake Roadster is the only thing that I would sell my sole for

The truck is actually a Fiat, but we won't hold that against it. Here's a story from Hemmings Blog. It's almost half way down the page. There's a lot of other cool articles there, too, so don't get distracted if you want the truck story.

Had the privlidge of being given a ride in a real cobra .The man who fabbed the motor rmts. in the 1ST-RIDE , motor mts. & trans mt. in the T-roadster owned one . It was like a go kart on steroids . I was impressed .That hauler looks as though who ever owns it has no bottoms in his pockets.

I got to get up close and personal with a real (street version) 427 Cobra when it was brand new. My girlfriend's father was good friends with the owner of the largest Ford dealership in WNY. It was on the showroom floor when we went to pick up his new Ford at the dealership. I lost my passion for it when I found out I couldn't fit my size 13s around the pedals in the tiny foot box.

They ran that Cobra at the local 1/8 mi drag strip for a while. With the slicks of the day and no traction compounds used on the strip, they could not get enough grip to keep the tires from just going up in smoke the entire distance.

0 to 100 MPH and stop in12.5 seconds, what more do you need to know?

PS to Bobby, glad to see you are still using the avatar from all those years ago, the place where I got it is long out-of-business.

Oh yeah, my truck is almost ready to fire up, maybe I should post some recent pics
