9 inch to Dana 60 question

Will the E-brake cable from the 9 inch work on Dana 60 or do I need cable from the 60? This is on a 78 F-150. Thanks

If ur worried about crap getting in that little hole, put a bolt through it with a nut on it.

Brake fluid leaks outta mine. That's why I was wondering what you put there to stop the fluid.

Its leaking out the hole where the grommet on the e-brake line goes into the back of the drum on ths drivers side because the grommet is pulled out.

Where is the brake fluid coming from? You do not have a sea of fluid and a couple brake pads swimming beneath the depths of your brake drum

The only internal part of your rear brakes that has fluid and can leak is the wheel cylinder.

Heres an assembled 9" brake setup. In this pic tje axle has the yoke pointing vertical so the wheel cylinder is on the right hand side just above the axle shaft. When the axle is under the truck the wheel cylinder will be at the top bolted to your backing plate with 2 bolts and will have a brake line running to it from the back side.

Well its either brake fluid coming from the wheel cylinder or brake line or its gear oil coming out the axle shaft seal.

No other fluids anywhere near there

if it is leaking just setting there it is most likely the axle seal... unless you get out there and pump the brakes on it..
