looking for someone i can talk to that has done a cummins swap on there 7.3l, my motor is well past its way out, and if im gonna start dumping the dead presidents this is seriously being considered. I know its doable, i just need to find out what you used, the issues you ran into, and a complete (or as close as i can get) to a parts list, so i can have everything ready to rock and roll once my truck gets back to my shop in ohio.


edit--more so specifically, wiring, and drive shaft lengths since i know the 4r100 gets moved a bit (even with the cummins to ford adapter and flex plate it still gets moved about 1/2 an inch if i recall correctly), and whether or not you used the cummins fan or bought the adapter to use the ford fan.

edit #2-- depending on what i find out ill keep you guys posted on here (might be a cummins conversion build, or a complete 7.3 teardown and rebuild with some special goodies)
