Down-draft Paint Booth

Could any of you guys tell me what a used above-ground down-draft paint booth is worth? I have no idea what brand it is. It has a roll-up type door on the end. A friend of mine bought a mechanic's shop and wants it gone. He has no idea what it's worth either.

I think I could buy it for a couple grand, but I don't know if it would be worth my time to take apart and move it. I'd love to have it to use myself on a few projects and then resell it, but it's wired for 3 phase, and 3 phase isn't available where I live, so maybe just E-bay it?

If you can get it for a couple of grand you can buy a phase converter and it's still a steal of a deal .

Its kind of odd that it has a roll up door. Is it a brand name booth? Is it elevated? If it isn't, the ducting for the exhaust will be in the concrete if it is a true downdraft, and then it really isn't worth much. If it is elevated and you drive up into it, or if it intakes from the top and exhaust from the bottom of the sides it would be worth more.

Yep, it's above-ground. You drive up ramps into it. All ductwork is below the floor of the booth, but NOT set into the slab. I can't find a brand name on it anywhere, but the way it was put into the building, you can't actually see two sides of the booth itself. There may be markings or tags hidden by the walls.

You can get a VFD (variable Frequency Drive) for the motor. You just have to match it to the HP of the motor. Thats what I had to do on my booth as it was going to cost me about $30,000 to have 3ph run to my shop.
