Emissions delete question, what are these and what do they do?

After deleting the smog pump and related pieces I am deciding what to do with these pieces and if they can be removed without messing with the ECM.

Long slender solenoid looking thing sticking out horizonatly from the front of the intake elbow.

Piece set at diagonal on drivers side elbow.

Both are plumbed into the air stream and are affecting or are affected by vacuum. Can they be deleted and if so will the ECM have a problem with it being SD?

no they can't be removed especially the IAC, that stands for Idle Air control. it's what controls your idle speed. The EGR removing on a FI vehicle will negatively affect performance.
