4" lift

Ok guys heres the deal, Im thinking of the Icon 4.5 lift, but my front is 3/4-1" lower then back and dont want the rear to end up higher,if anything I want rear a little higher. So not sure on what I can do other then BDS lift or raising the rear a bit more with air bags or sum shims, just not sure how, plus dont want to use air bags for ride height.I will in future add air bags just not now. What do you guys think are some possibilities on my situation, Thanks

I did the Carli 4.5 set up. It raises the front of my F350 4-4.5 in and the back 2.5 to 3in. Measuring it, mine sits about .5-.75 in higher front to back (almost looks level though). Since you have a 250, you would need the 350 rear blocks to achieve this. If you would like any details on the lift itself, just let me know.

Not to side track this thread but I'm just curios as to what pro comp kit you have and how the ride is as I'm currently in the market for a 4" lift

Mine was their 4" that I bought at the ford dealer. I had them take the shocks off and I ended up going with the rancho adjustable with the my ride controller.

Night and day difference with the stock ride. Everything is still warrantied thru ford. I like having the adjustable capabilities for different environments.

This may sound crazy but I put the Icon 4.5 lift on and did not like the rake.
So, I stacked the stock blocks in the back on top of the new blocks that came with the kit, and added the Icon 1" spacers in the front. The truck sits just about level now and the 5'5" lift works great with the 37's. Now that I like how it's sitting I'll get bigger blocks in the back to replace the stacked up ones. Here a bad picture, but you get the idea.

I too did the Readylift 3.5sst kit. Trucks sits with a factory like rake back to front. I do tow an enclosed car trailer weighing roughly 11.5k and thats why I went this route. I also wanted to avoid a high in the rear situation as well. Now if the money tree would allow for my tires, I'd be good to go!!

I have the same lift. I did some research and asked my lift installer. We can d 37" but 35" was suggested. 35 look good, cheaper, and allow a lot more choices in wheels and tires. I looked at Toyo MT, Cooper, and Nitto trails. 35" Nitto trails are taller and seem to be the best AT choice.

Cool deal. Yeah toyo or nitto are my top two choice. How do you like the lift? Better traction and ride comfort or about the same as stock ?

35" would look better in the wheel well. 37" would fill it up too much and look out of place.

I went with terra grapplers in a e rated tire so I could still tow.

Wasn't cheap.

I meant high in the FRONT, not rear. I too am going with a 35 inch tire. I really like the looks of the Trail Grappler M/T and it seems like you can still tow with it. Still debating on Rancho 9000xl or the Bilsteins but that is on the list too. Kinda leaning toward Rancho

No change at all. Just taller which is just what I wanted. 3.5" doesn't seem like much but I was taken back when I picked up my truck. Needs wheels and ties bad!!!
