Joe, that is actually Swan Lake.....it's kinda long and narrow.

I took a 280 mile trip today, and took a ton of pics......but when I got home I realized there was a smudge on the camera lens, so they all look blurry except these. I was bummed....

True bummer about the smudge, but these are great pics.

I was elk hunting in around 1970 east of Flathead Lake, but I don't remember seeing Swan Lake. My dad's friend lived in Kalispell. We were in the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area.

Elk in the very picturesque Umpqua Valley, Oregon near the coast. My wife had just asked what elk looked like after seeing yet another sign warning of elk crossing and there he was.

I have a Fairlane fiberglass front end. The fenders, hood front pan are all one piece.

What's on your trailer, Bobby? Looks like a RR station baggage cart? That's a pretty drive, haven't been up there in a while.

PS -- how fast are you going at that RPM? Have you still got the 2.78 in it?

Thanks guys.
I got some random shot from the truck show that I'll try to get posted soon.

Yes, that's a Railway Express Agency baggage cart. My buddy found it at a scrap metal dealer down in Roswell a few weeks ago. Its pretty interesting as the deck raises up. There is a crank mechanism at the front with 2 positions (speed or torque), the deck will raise to about 5 1/2' tall.

There are few more pics of it on the Working Trucks thread
