Throttle Body Spacer

I have a 2001 Diesel 4x4...am currently adding cold air intake system and 4" exhaust...

Will a throttle body spacer do anything for me?

Thanks,
Steve

Diesels don't have throttle bodies, so no, it won't do anything for you.

If you had a gas engine it would have a throttle body, and then no, a throttle body spacer won't do anything for you except make your wallet lighter.

Thanks...obviously I am not a gear head (hopefully learning to be)...I asked because I was at a site (Expedition/Excursion Performance Electronics Throttle Body Spacer) and it gave a Throttle Body Spacer for the Excursion. I have never bought anything from these folks...just saw it and thought I would ask in case it would help the MPG a bit.

Thanks again,
Steve
