I'd like to get some steps that bolt to the frame, and my options in Canada are limited. Do you think there would be a shop somewhere between Bellingham and Longview that might have some in stock?
I would think that shipping would be monstrously expensive.
That's pretty much all of WA along the I5 corridor, I can't imagine having a hard time with that. Course I can't imagine not being able to get them in Canada, are you after something specific? Simple tube steps should be really easy for that truck.
Yeah, I called a few and they don't have them in stock. The shipping will negate any benefit from buying from the states, so I'll check with some local Canadian shops. I have just noticed that parts in the states are usually quite a lot cheaper than in Canada, and now that our dollars are almost at par, it makes sense to make a trip down.
With what I need, simple tubes will be fine. It's stock, but I am short so it's a bit of a hassle getting in. I don't need anything heavy duty.
Look up 4WheelParts Tonneau Covers, Lift Kits, Winches, Leveling Kits, Tires, Wheels & Tonneau Cover Truck Parts by 4 Wheel Parts online, they are mostly an online company but have a few retail stores, one of which is in Alderwood another in Tacoma neither far from I5 so easy for you to pop into on your way to Longview. I can't say that it's likely they will have what your after in stock. But they have a great selection and website for you to pick out what ya want, or just give them a call. AND in my experence with them you can often get them to have what you need waiting for you at a store pretty quick.
