Spark on all wires? Then you might be right 88rustyred, might be timing, but it's starting to sound fuel to me.

Yes its the 4.9. I was wondering about the timing but I doubted it could be that. The weird thing is that after it starts up finally, if it starts up, it runs completely fine.

Woke up today and tried the truck and nothing. Went to auto zone and picked up some spark plugs and spark wires, put them in and still nothing. Tried the rear tank but I didn't even hear it prime. Put it back to front tank, turned key to accessories for 10 seconds because I hear it does something lol, then after about 30 seconds of cranking it starts up. Take it to orielly to get an obd scan, comes up with the egr valve is closed, coolant sensor temp is low or something like that, and a secondary fuel pump valve or something failure. Now the truck won't start again and I have no clue what's wrong.

Well, ya.

Puddy gave you some good advise.
The in-dash tank selector switch.
When they go south, nothin' works.
They're inexpensive and easy to replace too.

So that may still be the cause even though it sometimes starts after a while, and runs completely fine after it starts?

Based on these symptoms, it sounds like the in-dash switch is "failing" and not totally "failed".....ie. intermittant connections.

"So that may still be the cause even though it sometimes starts after a while, and runs completely fine after it starts?"
Yep !!
