Living in Northern California now.

I had a job offer for Oregon, but that job offer went out the window. But I landed a job up here in Northern California. It was so weird at first as Im always used to Sacramento being way up north, but now its south. Bidwell park is nice. The Sundial Bridge is awsome as well.

I really really need to get a boat now, with Lake Shasta to the north, Lake oroville to the south, lake Almanor to the east. These lakes are leaps and bounds better than stinky fish sea, or the colorado river imo.

Sounds like he's in Redding now with the Sundial bridge. Folsom is probably a little too far. How are you liking that Redding heat? I'm about two in a half hours away, and can't stand it when I drive through.

I dropped it there. Bidwell is near Chico and for some reason I was thinking Sacto. I have been to Bidwell and it is a happening spot in summer
Never heard of Sundial. Redding is like living on the face of the sun.

It does get hot out here but it beats the Indio heat. Redding is pretty though not my first choice I wanted to live in Chico but Chico is too far from Redding. I was looking forward to living in Oregon, but that didnt work out. I did get close to it though lol.

Holler if you're up this way.

Wow, hayfork? Haven't heard that one in a while. I spent a few weeks there back in 1987, back when I was a fighting fires for a living. 'Tis pretty country over there. Especially when it's not on fire.

Still pretty. There was a fire up there a few months ago. Burned down to the highway just east of town. No matter where you live, there's a natural disaster going to happen. That's why they're called "natural" disasters. Looking forward to lots of hard work, hot summer afternoons on the screen porch, and those long winter nights by the fire.

I did my own stint in Hayfork, I was stationed there '84-90.
I will say that there is a lot of 'greenery' that grows around there.
Use caution when wandering around in the mountains in the summer.

Yup, wacked out pot farmers and poison oak to watch out for. Lots of greenery. Nice country though.
