lift off hoods

lift off hoods

im looking at a cervinis ram air hood and you can get it for 345$ if you get the lift off version.. how much of a pain are they?

Anything lift off is a pain. Let's just say you get what you pay for IMO

I have one myself...And after jackasses pulling the hoodpins out JUST enought to LOOK like they're fully locked in position...

My hood has been blown off TWICE to that...

So now it's all cut down, and getting ready to be molded into the OEM hood..

I'll trim a piece of the OEM hood out and allow it to exhaust the heat..

Very much a pain. You need 2 people anytime you need to take the hood off. Just spend the $$ on the regular one

You must make friend everywhere you go

And good luck "molding" the Cervini Hood into your stock hood.
