thanks! it should have come like that from the factory!! the wood slat has just the right thickness, just under 1/8".

Boy do I wish I thought of this back in '96 when my two year old was pushin' the rear control buttons and I never found an override.

I never understood the logic behind this rear radio control ever since 1986 when I bought my first Aerostar. Its' the driver or the front passenger who control the radio!

Didn't you guys ever see the Aerostar ads where Lindsay Wagner was trying to convince you that the rear section was like a family room? You gotta have audio controls for your family room!

if that was Lindsay's living room, how come the seats were never rearranged? women are always rearranging furniture. Ask Martha and then write to Dear Abby.
