help with dual tanks

Tanks a... little?
You could conceivably use short sections of both feed & return lines from a salvage tank "lid" assembly, cut off at the lid entry point and folded over on themselves. In order to completely seal them you would need to braze or weld (FAR away from any fuel or fuel vapors) the folded over sections of the fuel lines. To complete the job you should be able to obtain from a salvage yard the dummy cover that mounts in the dash in place of the selector switch (found in any single tank F-Series from this era). This is not only an aesthetic or cosmetic step but the blank/dummy plate actually has a plug in the back side that serves to complete the proper pump and sending unit circuits for the single tank trucks since they all came wired to accept the dual tank switch; similar to the jumper on many trucks that came DRL ready sold here in the US. At least all of the single tank trucks that I have seen came this way.
Just curious, though, why would you want to effectively cut the cruising range of a truck in half?

5 minutes with a hack saw and grinder and you can make plugs from old bolts to insert in the lines where they connect to the tank.. effectively reducing the truck to a single tank system. The dash switch could be removed but forgetting that it exists also has the same effect and nothing would be damaged by doing so.
