wide white wall help

I'd really like to run some wide whites but they are insanely expensive. Where have you guys found to buy these the most reasonably? Thanks!

I have found the same INSANE prices here in the central valley. But it really didn't matter where I looked - and trust me, I've looked - wide whites, especially in radial cost some chaching! $249 a piece.

Should you find them at a lower price please advise - for my next set of four... Keeping a positive outlook here Wayne.

Ha ha, the difference between living in the US and Aus, if I found wide whites for $249 each I'd jump on them thinking that was super cheap!

These old trucks didn't have WWs when new, anyway. Some things just are not right.

Hello Aussiecowboy, and others,

Yes $249 would be great, for redback radial with wide whitewall is $370 each and $70 to get four up from Sydney. All part of the joys of motoring. I want to change mine as they are cross ply, shame as they are like brand new.

WWW really bring out the beauty of these trucks. I got mine in a trade (set of 5 WWW bias ply tires mounted on 16" wheels with hubcaps and beauty rings). I'm not looking forward to replacing them when the time comes.

Thanks!

Before the WWW, I spent about $600 on a set of five Bridgestone radials thin WW. They were on 15" wheels. I barely have any miles on the radials.

The 16" wheels with WWW, hubcaps and beauty rings really bring out the truck.
