Recommended shops in Claremore Area

I'm a new Power stroke owner and would like to have a trusted mechanic should I need one. I read the forum almost daily to learn more about the maintenance needed to keep my 6.0 healthy but would really like to have someone that I can trust should I get in over my head.

Hiya Kansaspcdoc. I dont know if we have many members in Claremore? We had one; Traxxis. AKA, Stan. If he's still here he may be able to chime in and give you the answer. I'm in Owasso and there's only one auto repair place that i trust; Pinnacle Automotive Repair. I've taken my '78 F150 and my wife's Honda Passport there and dont have any complaints. I dont know if they are power stroke experts or not? I guess you could give them a call to find out. Maybe someone in or near Claremore will chime in soon.

Thanks I'll keep them in mind. I thought at one time I read a thread on here about a really good place in Pryor but I can't for the life of me find that thread.

there are several shops in Tulsa to take care of your needs, Diesel power plus and Joe cooper for is who I have been using for my 6.0 when I don't have time to work on it myself.

I don't know how you define "Claremore area", but there's a diesel shop west of Oologah that seems busy - indicating he does a decent job. But I've never personally used him so I can't say for sure.

He could be busy because these 6.0's require a lot of attention and there are millions of them out there.
