We are expanding our family and would like to keep the expedition (1998). I have seen posts about people who have extra parts to make the 3rd row a success. Please help!!
If it wasn't configured for the seat to begin with it is going to be a bear of a job, you need to add the cut outs in the floor to accept the seat and the seat belt attachments to the D pillar.
I think the "attachment" points that the seat are already there, it may just be an issue of cutting the carpet. I would remove the surrounding trim and pull back teh carpet and see what you have- there are always seats on CL for sale
Craigs List is your best bet to buy local as the size and weight of the seat will raise your final cost by hundreds. There was a tan(?) Navigator seat in Va. Beach for $20.00 just this past week. I sold one from my Expedition for $125.00 about 6 months ago. The prices are all over the map, anything under $200.00 is a decent deal, IMO.
