The 21 & 24 just means you did not warm up the engine before the test.
If the engine was warm then you may have a problem with those two sensors.

The 52 KOEO:
Some vehicles are equipped with a PSPS software strategy, but do not have PSPS hardware released for the engine/vehicle application. When Service Code 52 is received in Key On Engine Off, check to see if the vehicle is equipped with PSPS. If not, disregard servicing the Code 52.

If the 52 was KOER then:
Either the above still applies or you did not turn the steering wheel during the KOER test.

yeah - I'm not too worried about the codes right now - figured they were because it's a cold engine.

I did it with the engine off.

Plus this thing hasn't been on the road in a looong time, and I have no idea what the previous owner's been up to with it.

So I just cleared the codes so I can start fresh.

I'm getting plates today - so I'm going to take it for a good test ride on the road and see if any codes pop up.

There is a sensor on the power steering. But again - I'll see what codes come up later today and I'll worry about it then.

Thanks again for all the info.

You can not clear KOEO codes as they are not stored. The KOEO is an electrical test of the sensors, actuators and wiring. That is why you run it first to see if everything is OK electrical and then of course you have to fix the electrical problems before you run the KOER and look for stored codes in the computer memory.

ahhh - that makes much more sense to me now.

I was thinking more about why warming the engine would matter on the temp sensors - if the info was stored, they'd ALWAYS create an error entry every time you started the vehicle cold.

good to know.
