1964 F100 Custom Cab

Just picked it up today for $650. Its a pretty big project, but it runs. with a strong 351c under the hood and i believe a C4 backing it. Drivers side floor pan is rotted through pretty bad passenger side not so bad. The Seat is chewed up. Headliner is missing. none of the gauges work neither do any of the lights. Waterpump is shot. its leaking oil out the rear main seal. but hey i wanted a project... now i got it.

Good looking truck!

It sounds like you've got yourself a good project. If it didn't have any issues it wouldn't be a project!!

true there. actually went to the dmv today to register it in my name. turns out its a 65 and the guy i bought it from wasnt the registered owner, my guess is he never transferred the title. even worse is the previous owner had a lien on the title. so i now have to jump thru hoops to get it. luckily the dmv gave me a 2 month operating permit.

tomorrow im planning on yanking out the seat. and im going to pull the plugs and the water pump. also plan on spraying down the whole truck to get some of the grease and grime out.

anyone have an idea of how thick of metal i should use for the floor pans. i was thinking about just cutting the cancer out and painting it and bolting some street signs i had laying around over it.
