It used to be easy to put pictures on here. Now It's a process that literally takes longer than a root canal.

Anyways, just set up my dad's new 2013 Explorer Base model to tow his 2007 Gulfstream Amerilite 21MB. 3215 lbs dry weight.

Even without the tow package the TBC harness was under the dash, though only the brake signal wire and ground wire were useable. There was no power from the fuse box to the harness, or brake wire to the rear of the vehicle.

I have the 2013 explorer sport, and have 2 boats. explorer should pull my 21ft checkmate, but we haven't tried. It for sure wont budge the 42ft scarab. may try to roll the checkmate this weekend - we usually tow it with the excursion.

Cougar,
real easy to put pics here...
Select the go advanced button,
scroll down to select manage attachments,
browse to the pic on you local drive,
upload it and it's there

I traded in my 2010 Fusion for the Explorer for the 3rd row seating and so I could tow. Twice now I have towed a uhaul 6x12 trailer fully loaded (max rated at 4,400lbs) from Tulsa to Colorado Springs (don't tell uhaul, they don't rent to explorers) I was very impressed, had plenty of power for the uphill journey and murging onto a fast hi-way. It never felt like I would have trouble stopping.
