Ran across this problem this morning. I had a reman alternator on my truck and I believe it was a new pulley put on it, anyways got the serpentine one off and found that I will have to do a little machining tomorrow before I can do my swap. Just a little heads up to people with reman alternators.

Also not sure if its just the alternator that I picked up but maybe the raised lip on it has somethings to do with it to?
