Well we just use 87 octane all the time no matter what. Towing or whatever. Do you know if maybe I could just email mike or is he possibly a FTE member? It is alot easier to email right now with how busy I am. Plus it would be a while till we actually got it. Is the X3 power flash SCT tuner good for what I want?

Your on the right path Trav. It is still the best mod I've done to my truck. And better yet a top notch co. to do business with. Order that tuner and 3 days later you could be pullin that redneck high rise down like nothing.

Absolute truth! Mike is AWESOME to deal with and his tune really uncorked my V10! An added bonus is the improved MPG, which will pay for the tuner.

I had a chevy half ton in 02. Bought a Hypertech tuner and returned it because it didnt really do anything. Ive had a 7.3 and a 6.0 diesel since. Tuners worked wonders. Now I have a V 10. Want to tune it but can you really tell a difference? Ive always heard with gassers it really doesnt make much difference, and with the Hypertech and Chevy that was my experience

I could tell right from the start. My 09' is on 37's, and the performance and mpg's gains were very noticeable. I'm very happy!

Ok I found out somthing a few days ago that might be the answer as to why the truck does so good. The last owner told me the truck has been chipped with something else for it to do that. I had no idea. I forgot the name of the chip maybe if you start saying names it will pop back up but I am afraid now it might mess with the chip.

Tuners like SCT only plug in to load the tune, then unplug. My SCT tuner is locked in my gun safe.
