rear wheel bearing

simple question i think, im just not positive. on a rear axle out of a 95 350, do i need to pack the wheel bearings with grease, or they get lubed by the gear oil?

Yes you do, done so to ensure they are fully lubed until the dif grease has chance flow out and refill the hubs.

Make sure you fill the dif now then drive it a while, then top it off again say in 100 miles or so.

ok cool thanks. do i need to pack the hubs with a lot of extra grease like i would the front, or just the bearings, until the hubs fill with gear oil? and what weight oil do you use in that housing? same weight oil in the front? (dana 60 up front)
