Hey, Im new to FTE. The old M-H Fords have always been a favorite truck of mine. I own a 51 Ford F5 and am looking to convert it to a M-H four-wheel drive, the only problem is, I cant find one. I was wondering if anyone here might have or know were to find the complete setup. Please let me know. Thanks. Mark

First, welcome. Glad to have you hanging around. Finding a donor big truck shouldn't be too awful hard. First person to talk to is Chuck Mantiglia of Chuck's Trucks. He has his finger on the M-H pulse better than anybody. Here's the link to Chuck's site.

Next, our member "petey shoes" has had an extra drive train set available for a while. You might look him up.
From my own experience, you can't have just one. These trucks commonly led a hard life and when you find one it's pretty used up. The truck in my signature block will have pieces from three trucks. The one that comes next will also be a combo of several trucks. So, good luck with your search. Stu

Mark, first welcome to the board, second, you need to post your location in the upper right hand corner. Whenever someone comes on the boards and asks for help or a source for parts it's a lot easier to direct the person if you know their general location.
I know there was a complete F-5-6 M-H in northern WI in a junkyard. The biggest obstacle is location and the owner is one of those old coots who don't like to part with their stuff even though they're in the business of selling stuff.

I have a complete 1942 1 1/2 ton marmon. The body is really rusty, but I assume the mechanical side is just fine. If you are interested, PM me or email me at jkeeslin@purdue.edu
