2001 F250 stuttering

When I bought the truck 6 years ago when pulling out of the LOT it was stuttering. They told me they washed the engine drive it awhile and it would clear up which it did.
But since then when I park it a certain way and it rains real hard or has snow that melts on it the stuttering comes back at idle and driving.
So since it is doing it again since it has been sitting and we had some bad rain storms I am looking for a solution to fix it but where do I start looking?
It seems like it might be something electrical getting moisture in it somehow.
When I look under the hood nothing looks wet.

Stuttering

I've got the same issue with my 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty Truck. When it rains or we have heavy fog, I get the rough idle and stuttering as you mentioned. I assume as you do that it has moisture getting in somewhere. Could be spark plug related. I was going to take mine in this week but now have Transmission problems. Sorry I couldn't be of any help at this time.

Good luck getting it resolved........Regards, Mike

If you find out anything let me know.
I am tired of it and looking to fix it without having to pay a mechanic.

Just washed my engine compartment yesterday and now I'm in the same boat. I work 4 miles from home so I guess I need to try a long ride.

I didn't actually do a full wash either, mainly just hosed off the plastic because it was very dusty.
