LOL! Ok, well that explains it a little better. I wish I lived on property to have something built. Hell, I wish I did not live in a HOA, i would put a canopy or something over the truck so it does not bake in the sun all day.

I feel your pain on the HOA. I can't even build a garage or shed unless its brick and matches the house

Yeah! same here. I leave my race trailer on my drive way the night before I need to leave early the next morning, and my stupid neighbors call the association and I get a violation every time!

Haha my favorite one is not being allowed to have a business name on any of your vehicles. Luckily the rules aren't enforced too strictly but we would definitely get in trouble for a non brick garage.

Yes! same here. My next home will not be in an HOA that is a fact!

Well, people say they do that to PROTECT their property value. What they don't understand is that they really reduce their chanches of selling because there are millions of folks like me who would not live in that situation. I moved often when I was working and the first thing I told the realtors is no HOAs. That doesn't mean we dont maintain our property, it means we don't maintain our property to the neighbors prefrences. I find it amusing that my 50,000 dollar truck parked out front would diminish the neighborhood but my neighbors 1000 dollar 1994 Honda is protecting our property value. So, I feel for y'all.

Love the look. I did the same thing on my Tacoma, makes it look like the TRD exhaust system is installed.

Now I know what I am asking for for Christmas!

Wow! HOAs around here at least allow you time to park a camper or whatever for a day or so if you are packing for a trip. You must have a very, very **** HOA.

An HOA here tried that..... with sheriff's deputy.... parking his police car in his drive. Guess who lost? Hint: not the deputy. They revised that rule as there are a lot of business's that require their employees to be on 24 hour call in a company vehicle.

Exactly! my stupid neighbors do not like that my hedges in the back are to tall saying that they cannot see the water view down that side if they look, the HOA then came to measure my hedges and said they were to tall I need to keep them at no more then 6". The thing is I like them tall so i do not see these annoying neighbors. To make a long story short, after I ignored the HOA's letters to cut them, a few weeks later the HOA cam out and CUT THEM FOR ME and left me a bill! (which I did not and will not pay). Like I said, after this, no more HOA for me ever.
