I am going to the banks factory to 3' down pipe and custom intake , so if any one needs a stock down pipe or bottom half of the air box and flex hose let me know. free of coarse minus shipping.

I am sure these are not hot wanted items but I figured if some one needs them then great

The up pipe casting and cross over pipe are fine the way they are. It's just the exhaust side that was restricted. You can plumb in a fitting after the air filter and before the turbo for the CDR tube. Other than that, it looks like a complete kit. Good find! How is the shaft play on the compressor wheel?

You shouldn't need a gauge. If in your mind's eye, it moves up and down about 1mm or less, you are fine. If you push the wheel all the way to the edge, it should not come in contact with the housing. There should be zero in and out play. If so, go ahead and install it in the truck.

Turbos are damaged mostly in two ways. First, dirty oil. Some people will go way too long before changing their oil and that will wear the bearings faster. Water in the oil will do the same thing but usually the truck has a severely limited life at that point.
Secondly, ingestion of foreign material into the compressor side. Loose boot fittings, improperly installed air filters, poor quality air filters and neglect can lead to a turbo ingesting dust, dirt, sand, water, etc. All of those things damage the compressor wheel when it is turning up to about 30,000RPM.

thanks for the advice guys. I need to save a couple of hundred bucks for the exhaust and gauges and then its going on. I have a 8000lbs toyhauler I need to use in Dec so hopefully it will be done by then or I am in for a long SLOW trip up the mountains
