Well guess he'll have to look but I know my 87 (single rear) has the VSS in the rear dif, think it be fairly safe to assume his does too?
Sounds to me like a bolt in affair, no mods or changes needed to anything including getting the speedo working. And will need the speedo, doesn't need to see it but needs the POSM working. And can correct for tire size if needed, ability to do so hasn't been used up already. Enough correction make up for any slight differences in tone ring same time?

point taken but why is there 4 inches if difference in the overall measurement? They Made Chassis cab SRW's in 87-97. so the wider measurement is an error? Im just not understanding the 4 inch difference. as far as the true dually vs Chassis cab axle width, having owned both I know about. I was meaning maybe there is a difference in axles between a regular 250 vs a Chassis cab srw 350
if it was single rear wheel, it was a pickup without a bed.
dual rear wheel rear axle was 4 inches wider than a single rear wheel axle to compensate for the dual wheels.
