I used NASON single stage urethane over Eastwood epoxy primer. Only complaint I have is the NASON colors. I think they're sometimes off. Wimbledon White was WAY to creamy. Fortunately, the counter guy at the auto paint store knew how to correct it.
If you don't have a paint booth you'll probably get lots of dirt and some bugs. I was able to sand and buff it all out and a couple of sags too.
The catylist is highly toxic so protect yourself.
Try for perfection but don't expect it.

Thanks for the info and help Silver, Mike and Mav.
Ive decided to go off the beaten path and do a non ford color. I have a garage at my dads work that i am going to setup as a makeshift paint booth.
I get my license on January 2nd so over winter brake the truck is being painted. Im starting the tear down first thing December 22nd.
How many gallons of paint will be needed for it?
Any guesses on what color (from this site) i will be painting it?

Plum Crazy?? Sublime? Guards Red? Lucerne Blue? Springtime Yellow?

I used two gallons of primer and two+ (two tone) gallons of color because I had to do, redo, and redo to get it right. Also wasted a lot of overspray with my OLD Binks HP gun. First coat was done a panel or two at a time (small work space) so excess with each mix was wasted. I think I should have been able to use half that if each step was done right the first time.

Im leaving interior paint all white. but im dooing door jams and everything i can with it. I am thinking cobalt blue, daytona blue, or royal blue. I like the look of the sublime and the plumb crazy but they are plymoth and dodge looking colors. Plus one of my close friends has a 56 chevy thats plumb crazy and i want something different. I still have til december to decide so who knows.......... it may be jet plack
